What is LocalVouchers?+
LocalVouchers is a New Zealand marketplace for local deals and vouchers. Browse offers from cafés, restaurants, salons, services and more — claim a voucher and redeem it at the business.
Is it free to use?+
Yes. Browsing, claiming and redeeming vouchers is completely free for customers.
Do I need an account?+
You can browse without an account, but you'll need to sign up (free) to claim vouchers, save deals, leave reviews and earn rewards.
How do I claim a voucher?+
Open the deal, tap 'Claim voucher', and it's added to your wallet. Each voucher has a unique QR/barcode the business scans at redemption.
How do I redeem a voucher?+
Show the voucher from your wallet at the business. Staff scan the code on their phone, or enter the short code manually. Redemption is instant.
Do vouchers expire?+
Yes — every deal lists its expiry date and any terms. Check before you visit.
Can I use a voucher more than once?+
Most vouchers are single-use per customer, but some businesses run multi-use offers. Each deal page shows the limits.
What does 'mobile / remote' mean on a listing?+
It means the business comes to you (e.g. mobile mechanic, home cleaner). They still list a base address used for verification and to show distance from you.
How is the distance on cards calculated?+
Distance is the straight-line distance from your current location to the business's listed address. We ask for your location once and store it locally on your device.
What are rewards / points?+
You earn points each time you redeem a voucher or refer a friend. Points unlock bonus offers and perks.
How do referrals work?+
Share your personal referral link from the Rewards page. When a friend signs up and uses their first voucher, you both earn bonus points.
Can I leave a review?+
Yes — after redeeming a voucher you can rate and review the business. Honest reviews help other locals.
What if a business won't honour a voucher?+
Contact us via the Contact page with the voucher code and details. We'll follow up with the business and make it right.
How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?+
Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email hello@localvouchers.co.nz and we'll remove you.

All of New Zealand — Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin and beyond. New listings are added every week.
